PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS

The integral development of children and youth in Tulum is essential to boost the quality of life, therefore we apply an intervention model which has three central programs designed to help fulfill our goals.

EDUCATION

We support young people, who have low income or disabilities and having their place of origin in the Mayan communities, to stay in school. Such support is to grant them:

Scholarships
Medical and dental care
Orthopedic equipment
Develop with them a coaching program.

At primary level , our work is focused on children who discover every day their own talents and strengthen their identity recognized on differences . So that they are proud of their roots and have the opportunity to complete school and therefore have a better future.

EDUCATION SUPPORT FOR COLLEGE

At the college level, we support young people with low incoming or disabilities to remain in school.

DELIVERY OF SCHOOL SUPPLIES

We deliver school supplies to children that are studying elementary school in small communities.

CULTURE

We promote the habit of reading with our mobile library, using a simple program where we take our collection of books to a community’s primary school for a period of 3 months. We also donate books to educational institutions in the area.

MOBIL LIBRARY

We promote reading habit, taking to the communities our collection.

DANCE SCHOOL

“LOS REYES DEL CARIBE”

Support given to promote family and social values with kids through a dance culture.
In Culture, we aid to the dance group “Los Reyes del caribe” and by this way Tulum Foundation A.C. supports this noble cause being that this group has the same characteristics as our mission provides.

CONSERVATION

ENVIRONMENTAL CARE

With proper care and conservation of flora and fauna in this privileged place , we work for the future of all. What do we want for our children ?, imagine a world without waste , no pollution , balanced … every action however small it is has a direct effect. Some of the actions we take are: Workshops household waste management and recycling , talks about the ecological footprint , sea turtles and local species. We are part of the Organizing Committee of the Festival of the Sea Turtle Tulum .

FLORA, FAUNA Y CULTURA DE MÉXICO A.C. AGREEMENT

Support for the care and protection of sea turtles and turtle release to raise awareness of the importance of preserving this endangered species.

13º TULUM SEA TURTLE FESTIVAL 2015

Annual celebration at the end of the nesting season to promote ecological culture for protection and care of sea turtle for preservation.
